Custom Wine Paintings

It all starts with some information from you. First we take your name, where you are from, your date of birth, and your favorite type of wine and then we incorporate that information into the wine label in the painting. Next is the background and foreground. Joscelyn Johnston combines all the feelings and images that you would like to incorporate and she then turns over a sketch for you to approve. Once approved, she starts working on creating a custom work of art for you.
The canvases that are used are 15.5 oz, museum grade stretched canvas. They are available in 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, and 2 inch thicknesses. They feature heavy-duty stretchers and have been primed with perfect acrylic gesso under ISO 9002 quality control standards. The canvases are hand-stretched onto American hardwood and are guaranteed not to warp.
The acrylic paints that Joscelyn Johnston uses are of the best high-quality pigmented paints on the market. The paints contain the purest acrylic polymer vehicle, ensuring excellent tint strength. Approximately 2-3 brushes are used per painting. Johnston prefers to use a mixture of sable and synthetic brushes. The brushes are made with 100% "Kolinsky" red sables as well as synthetic boar hair. The price of the painting includes all supplies.
